STEFFEN DILLNER (clarinet)

...studied with Prof. Wolfgang Mäder in Leipzig and as a master student with Reiner Wehle and Sabine Meyer at the Lübeck Music Academy. During this time he won numerous prizes at national and international competitions with the arirang quintet. Tours with this ensemble took him to almost all the continents of this world. He has held scholarships of the President of Germany, the Richard Wagner Scholarship Foundation and the German Music Council Berlin. Thus he was also selected by the German Music Council for its series »Young Artist Concerts«. He has played with renowned German orchestras under conductors such as Riccardo Chailly, Herbert Blomstedt, Kurt Masur and Fabio Luisi. He has been a member of the Dresden Festival Orchestra since 2015.
